C.F. Reese Plumbing provides tradesmen with a 5-step career path which is unique to our company and is an integral part of our training program, offering clear guidelines of the skills and training required for career progression, as well as the opportunity to go into management or become a branch owner.

Our staff are paid by their value instead of by a recommended rate. Consequently some of our apprentices are paid at higher rates, enabling them to have a better lifestyles and focus on training.

We operate a staff account system for tools, fees and registrations where the employee can pay back the  money over a period of time.

We also provide access to a Corporate Medical Insurance Scheme for staff with discounted corporate rates for partners and family.

And we offer lots of bonuses too. Gifts received from suppliers are pooled and given to staff at Christmas. And Supplier Reward Points go to two staff members per year for overseas holidays.

Scholarship

Colin Francis Reese started CF Reese Plumbing in 1946 and in the early 70's formed Reese Run Roofing, a long run roofing iron production company. Colin's contribution to the plumbing industry has been very significant- employing literally hundreds of apprentices spanning over six decades. CF Reese Plumbing and Reese Run Roofing have been instrumental in employing and training many of the current business owners in the Waikato region, including several current Master Plumbers.

Colin Reese passed away in 2003. In remembrance of Colin and his contribution to the industry, CF Reese Plumbing has set up the Colin Reese Memorial Scholarship.

The winner of the scholarship receives entry to a pre-trade plumbing course at Wintec Hamilton, all course fees paid, 4 weeks paid work at CF Reese Plumbing leading up to the pre-trade course, and a guaranteed apprenticeship with CF Reese Plumbing on completion of the course.
